Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we bring before You the community south of Jos where terror has struck and lives have been taken. You see the grief that now saturates these lands; let Your comfort surround those who mourn, drawing them close in their sorrow. Guard the believers as they stand firm in the face of fear, and sustain them with a peace that surpasses understanding. Reveal Jesus to those driven by violence, that they might turn from darkness to light. Strengthen the church to shine as a beacon of hope amid despair and renew their strength like eagles to rise above this adversity. In Your mercy, establish justice and dismantle the forces of chaos. For the glory of Your kingdom, we pray through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
