Pray with the global church

Lord God, we stand before You for the people of Benue State, where violence has claimed innocent lives yet again. You are the One who hears the cries of the afflicted and sees the pain of the brokenhearted. Comfort those who mourn and bind up their wounds with Your unfailing love. Sustain the families grieving their lost ones, and let courage rise in hearts that are weary and afraid. Reveal Jesus to those who have done such violence, that even they might be turned from hatred to new life. Guard the believers in Benue with Your peace, and make their testimony a light in dark places. We trust in Your promise to be near to all who call on You, to all who call on You in truth. For Your name's sake, let justice and mercy prevail here. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
