Pray with the global church

Freer of the Captives, we lift the Coptic Christian held in Egypt, and ask that You loose the chains of injustice binding him. You sent Jesus to proclaim freedom for prisoners and to set the oppressed free — let that promise find fulfillment here and now. In Your mercy, reveal Jesus to authorities who misuse power and the communities watching from a distance. May they know the truth of Your kingdom where captives are released. Strengthen believers in Egypt to stand firm in faith and bold in witness. Let them not be shaken by fear or intimidation but rooted in Your love. Through Jesus, our Redeemer who sets free, Amen.
