Pray with the global church

God of Refuge and Deliverance, we lift up the village in Nigeria's Plateau state, where violence has left deep sorrow and fear. You are a shield around Your people, and we ask You to protect these villagers as the angel of the Lord once passed over the homes of Israel in Egypt. Let Your presence go before them, covering them with peace that surpasses understanding and guarding them from further harm. Bring healing to the wounded, comfort to the grieving, and hope to the fearful. Reveal Jesus to the attackers, to those who mourn, and to the communities watching from afar. May Your justice and mercy be known in this land. We entrust this village to Your care, for You alone are their refuge and strength. In the name of Jesus, our Redeemer and Protector. Amen.
