Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we bring before You the memory of Fr. Crépin Martial Monga and the people of Zémio in the Central African Republic. You have promised that those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy — let this promise sustain his congregation and all who mourn his loss. Establish Your peace in this conflict-torn region, and let the seeds of faith that Fr. Monga planted bear fruit in abundance. Strengthen the church in CAR as a beacon of hope and reconciliation, and reveal Jesus to those who perpetrate violence, that they might turn from darkness to light. May the witness of Fr. Monga’s life and death serve to draw many into the embrace of Your love. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our Prince of Peace. Amen.
