Pray with the global church

Living God, we come before You for the townships of Wedela and Lwandle in South Africa, where many have been cut down by violence. Your eyes see the grief of families and communities, the fear that has spread like a shadow over these places. Rise as a stronghold for the people, binding up the brokenhearted and granting hope where despair seems overwhelming. Bring peace to those who have known only unrest, quieting hearts filled with anger and vengeance. May Jesus be revealed to every soul impacted by these tragedies, from grieving families to those who walk in darkness. Let justice roll down like waters upon these lands. In Jesus’ name we lift this prayer, trusting in Your unfailing love. Amen.
