Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we cry out for the people of Pakistan in the wake of this devastating attack. You see the shattered lives and hear the cries of those mourning loved ones taken so violently, including a precious child. Draw near with Your tender mercy where pain has pierced deeply. Restrain the hands that wield violence, and let peace be established in places torn by terror. May those who seek harm encounter Your truth that sets captives free. Protect and strengthen believers to be steadfast, shining as lights in this darkness. Reveal Jesus to persecutors, law enforcement, and communities watching from afar, that they may find in Him the Prince of Peace and the hope for their weary souls. In the shadow of suffering, let Your light break forth in Pakistan. Amen.
