Pray with the global church

Almighty God, we lift before You the city of Hama, where the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of St. George has been attacked. In a place where fear now looms and threats linger, be a refuge for those who seek Your peace. Establish Your protection over believers and keep their hearts from growing faint. Let Your light shine in the darkness, revealing Jesus to those who oppose Your name, turning hearts of stone to flesh. Guard the faith of every believer there, that they may stand firm as witnesses. Be with officials and the watching community; open their eyes to see and receive truth beyond what is reported. May Your Kingdom come in Hama, displaying justice and mercy for Your name's sake. Amen.
