In places where the cries of the oppressed rise like incense, hear their plea and be their fortress in times of trouble. Establish Your peace in these villages, and let righteousness spring forth where bloodshed has reigned. Restrain the hands of those who pursue violence and turn their hearts toward the Prince of Peace. Strengthen the church in Nigeria to be a beacon of hope and reconciliation, and reveal Jesus to the attackers, government officials, and all who watch from a distance. For the sake of Your name, bring healing where there is devastation and light where there is darkness. Amen.
