Pray with the global church

Lord of Hosts, we lift up the testimony of Jeff Woodke, whose six years in captivity bear witness to Your sustaining grace. He was pressed but not crushed, and through the blood of the Lamb and the word of his testimony, he overcame. Strengthen him now as he shares his story, and let it echo among believers and seekers alike. Reveal Jesus to those who held him captive and to the communities where he served. Let forgiveness flow in places where hatred has ruled too long. Sustain all who endure trials for Your name's sake. We will sing of Your steadfast love forever, that many might hear and trust in You alone. In the name of Jesus our Redeemer, Amen.
