Pray with the global church

Eternal Shepherd, we remember the life and sacrifice of Father Stanley Rother, who served the people of Guatemala with the heart of a shepherd laying down his life for the sheep. You have promised that unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. Multiply his story across the world, that many might be drawn to the light of Christ and be the light to others. Strengthen the believers in Guatemala who continue in his footsteps, and reveal Jesus to those who once opposed his work. Let the seeds of the Gospel sown through his life and death flourish in every heart and community. We trust You to bring forth a harvest of righteousness for the glory of Your name.
