God of Justice and Peace, we lift up the villages of Tanjol and Tarai in Plateau State, where violence and fear have shattered lives. You are a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble — be near to those who are mourning and afraid, and cover them with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Restrain the hands that wield violence, and let truth and reconciliation take root where enmity has flourished. Reveal Jesus to those who attack, to officials, and to the surrounding communities, that they may turn from destruction to light. Strengthen the believers in these villages, that they may stand firm in faith and love. For the sake of Your great name and the peace only You can provide, we pray in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
