God of All Comfort, we lift up the people of Kunar, where sorrow and fear cast long shadows after the recent air attack. Lives are shattered, and homes stand silent in grief. You are near to the brokenhearted — draw close to those who mourn, bringing comfort that mends what seems irreparable. We thank You that You are the rock that these families and communities can stand on in times of trial, that there is peace and rest in the shadow of Your wings. Restrain the cycle of violence that leaves families torn apart. Establish Your peace across these lands, where war has sown distrust and anger. Reveal Jesus to those who hold power, that hearts might be softened and reconciled through Him. Guard the lives of innocent families who live daily with conflict's threat and let hope rise anew in their hearts. We trust You, Lord, to turn mourning into dancing for Your name’s sake. Amen.
