Pray with the global church

Most High God, we lift up the Mambilla Plateau in Nigeria, where violence has driven believers to seek refuge across borders. You see their suffering and hold their tears in Your hands. Protect those fleeing for safety and shelter them under Your wings. Let justice roll down like waters over this land where it has been denied for so long, and break the cycle of retaliation that fuels these fires. Strengthen the believers enduring this trial, and let their hope in Christ shine as a light amidst the darkness. Reveal Jesus to those who perpetrate violence, that they might turn from destruction to life. You bring beauty from ashes—do it here for Your name’s sake. In the name of Jesus, our refuge and strength. Amen.
