God of All Comfort, we lift up the children of Kabul who have been wounded in this recent explosion near their school. In a place where violence has too often shattered peace, we ask You to be their refuge and strength. Bind up the brokenhearted and bring healing to those who are hurt. Let these young ones know Your peace that surpasses all understanding and protect their hearts from fear. Reveal Jesus to the people of Afghanistan, especially to those who perpetrate violence, that they might turn from destruction to life. Sustain the believers in Kabul as they bear witness to hope amid despair. Through Your mercy, let light shine in darkness and peace take root in troubled places. For the glory of Your name, Amen.
