Spirit of Providence, we lift up the church in Khartoum and Pastor Emmanuel in the face of increasing oppression. As the government seeks to control and silence Your people, we ask for Your sustaining grace to be evident in their midst. Set the captives free and reveal Your favor by releasing Pastor Emmanuel's son from unjust captivity. For those who plot against Your name, open their eyes to the light of Christ and the truth that sets men free. Guard Your church in Sudan, that they may be bold and unwavering in their witness. May righteousness and justice be the foundations of their peace, and may Your Word continue to flourish in the hearts of many. In the name of Jesus, who came to proclaim liberty to the captives, we pray. Amen.
