Pray with the global church

Almighty God, we lift up the region of Karen State in Myanmar where tragedy has struck a Christian Bible school. The loss and injury from this airstrike weigh heavy upon our hearts. Comfort those who mourn for the young lives taken, and bring healing to those injured in this violence. You are close to the brokenhearted; draw near to each family enduring grief and loss. Restrain those who wield violence against the innocent, and let justice roll on like a river in this land. Make known the light of Christ to military leaders and officials, that they might turn from paths of destruction. Protect Your church in Myanmar, and let the Gospel move forward in power despite these trials. We pray for peace and justice, trusting in Your unfailing love through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
