Pray with the global church

God of comfort, we lift before You the grieving families of Bin Mper in Mangu County, Nigeria, who are burying loved ones after the recent violence. In their sorrow, hold Your children near and let them find refuge in Your presence. Be their stronghold and shield, guarding their hearts from despair. Bring healing to this community, and let the light of Christ shine into the darkness of fear and retaliation. Reveal Jesus to those who carried out this attack, that they might turn from violence to the peace that only You can give. Strengthen the church in Plateau state to stand firm in love and truth, even as they mourn. For the sake of Your name, establish Your peace and justice in this land. Amen.
