Pray with the global church

God of Deliverance, we lift before You the 166 Christians held captive in Kaduna State, Nigeria, longing for Your intervention. You have declared that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those crushed in spirit. Strengthen the faith of these believers in captivity, that they may know Your presence even in their darkest hour. Disrupt the plans of those who seek ransom and violence, and reveal Jesus to them as the Light that shines in the darkness. Guard the families waiting in anguish, and sustain the church communities rallying in prayer and support. Let Your justice roll down like waters and Your righteousness like an ever-flowing stream across Nigeria. We trust in Your unfailing love and commit this situation to Your hands. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer and Savior, Amen.
