Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we stand with the believers in Algeria as twelve of Your children have been taken during worship. Guard their hearts in peace and wisdom, and assure their families of Your presence in this time. You declared blessed those who are persecuted for righteousness — let this blessing rest upon them, and equip the church leaders to face these trials without fear. Interrupt this campaign against Christians across Algeria, that Your people might live quietly in all godliness and dignity. Embolden the leaders with perseverance as they navigate these pressures, and reveal Christ's light through them. For Your kingdom stands unshakable, a refuge for all who seek Your name. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
