Reveal Jesus as the light to the oppressors who walk in darkness, that they may find forgiveness and new life. Strengthen Your church in Niger State, equipping them with love and courage amidst threats. Let Your righteousness shine like the dawn over these lands. We ask this, trusting that You, the God of all comfort, will act for Your glory. Amen.

You see the agony of those assaulted and taken against their will, and You do not ignore their cries. Reveal Jesus in the midst of their distress, drawing near with hope and strength that cannot be shaken. Guard their hearts from despair, and let Your peace guard their minds amidst unanswered questions and unmet needs. Move the hearts of officials in Nigeria to hear the cries of these families, that rescue might come quickly. Let the light of Christ shine in every dark corner of terrorist camps, and call captors to repentance as You did Saul on the Damascus road. Turn this sorrow toward redemption for the sake of Your great name. Amen.
