May Your light break through every shadow, illuminating paths of peace and revealing Jesus to those who have yet to know Him. Touch the hearts of those pursuing violence and deliver them from the grip of hatred. Let justice flow like a river across this land, and give courage to believers as they stand firm in faith. You are the One who watches over the sojourner and upholds the cause of the oppressed. Guard this new resident as they seek peace in a foreign land and let their life be a testimony to Your faithfulness. Reveal Jesus to those making decisions on matters of asylum, and soften hearts hardened against Your name. Let their witness in Israel stir a curiosity among neighbors, that they may come to know the One who gives rest for weary souls. We ask all this trusting in Your wisdom and mercy.
