Widow Finds True Refuge in Christ
Peng, a 53-year-old widow and mother of four, sought spiritual refuge from the Christian God. She wanted to protect herself and her children from what she perceived as a curse on their family that had killed her husband and his father.
Pray →God of Refuge and Strength, we lift up Peng and her children as they seek solace and protection beneath Your wings. You are a shelter and shield for those who trust in You, and Your faithfulness reaches to the heavens. As Peng has found true refuge in Christ, may her family know the peace that surpasses understanding and the security only You can provide. Draw her children into Your embrace, dispelling any fear or curse they may feel. Reveal Jesus to their neighbors, that they too may see Your goodness and seek shelter in Your presence. Let Peng's testimony be a beacon in her community, that many would come to know the One who rode on the wings of the wind to rescue those in distress. In the name of Christ our Lord, Amen.
